Dell has pushed the boundaries of mobile computing with its Pro Max Plus.
The world’s first mobile workstation equipped with an enterprise-grade discrete Neural Processing Unit (NPU).
Edge AI with the Pro Max Plus
Powered by the Qualcomm AI 100 PC Inference Card, the device boasts 32 AI cores with 64 GB of dedicated memory.
It enables on-device AI processing of models up to 109 billion parameters, traditionally handled only in the cloud.
Impressively, this NPU offers roughly 450 TOPS ten times what leading consumer NPUs can deliver making it a powerhouse for local AI workloads like chatbots, AI co-pilots, or advanced diagnostic tools.
Presented at Dell Technologies World 2025, the Pro Max Plus signifies a shift: AI is now the primary function, not graphics or traditional productivity.
Scale with Smarter Infrastructure & Cooling

AI isn't just about smarts—it’s also about scale, reliability, and efficiency.
Dell’s AI Factory infrastructure is reshaping enterprise AI deployment.
Self-contained AI Factories & Performance
Prebuilt stacks combining servers, storage, networking, and software.
Its designed to be plugged directly into data rooms and operational within hours making deployment fast and simple.
Dell claims its AI Factory deployments can be up to 62% more cost-effective than using public clouds for LLM inferencing.
Next-Gen Servers & Cooling:
The PowerEdge XE9785 servers, equipped with AMD Instinct MI350 GPUs.
They offer up to 35× higher AI inferencing performance and come in both air-cooled and liquid-cooled configurations.
Revolutionary Thermal Efficiency
Dell’s PowerCool Enclosed Rear Door Heat Exchanger (eRDHx) captures 100% of IT-generated heat, operating with warm-water (32–36 °C) cooling to slash energy use by up to 60%
It enables 16% higher rack density—without compromising efficiency.
Major AI Server Launch
Dell also rolled out air- and liquid-cooled AI servers powered by Nvidia’s Blackwell Ultra chips, capable of housing up to 256 GPUs and offering up to 4× faster model training than previous generations.
